A delegation of senior hospitality leaders representing Andrew Michelin Hotels (AMH), one of Antigua’s prominent local hospitality collectives, has traveled to London to participate in the 2024 World Travel Market (WTM) London, one of the global travel and tourism sector’s most influential annual industry gatherings. The three-member AMH delegation comprises Mario Thomas, Resident Manager of the Hawksbill Hotel, Chiquira Jarvis, Revenue Manager overseeing both COCOS Hotel and Conch Beach Cabins, and Inger Challenger, General Manager of Keyonna Beach. The flagship WTM London event draws thousands of cross-sector participants annually, including frontline tourism practitioners, international wholesale travel buyers, small and large hospitality operators, and high-level industry stakeholders from more than 180 countries and territories. It is widely recognized as a critical centralized hub for structured networking, cross-border collaborative negotiations, and the forging of long-term, mutually beneficial commercial partnerships that drive global travel flow. For AMH, this year’s WTM London presence delivers a targeted, high-visibility platform to showcase the group’s eclectic portfolio of Antigua-based hospitality properties, which spans from secluded boutique beach cabana experiences to full-service resort accommodations tailored to diverse traveler segments ranging from luxury honeymooners to family vacationers. The team is set to conduct dozens of pre-scheduled meetings with key travel partners from top source markets including the United Kingdom, the European Union, and North America, to strengthen existing distribution ties and unlock new market access for their properties. Alongside its immediate participation goals at WTM London, AMH’s leadership has publicly outlined an ambitious multi-year regional expansion strategy that will extend the brand’s footprint far beyond its current Antigua operations. The planned growth pipeline includes new property launches in Jamaica, Guyana, and the sister Caribbean island of Barbuda, as well as a second additional resort development on Antigua itself, as the group positions itself to become a leading regional hospitality operator across the Eastern Caribbean and beyond.
