On behalf of the Government and people of Antigua and Barbuda, as well as the Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission, Makhoul extended deepest condolences to Sparrow’s family, friends, fellow artists, and the people of his home nations. “We stand with you in sorrow and in profound gratitude for a life that gave so much to our region,” Makhoul wrote.
