On an annual basis, the Adult Education Division of Dominica turns the spotlight on the creative talents and hard-won accomplishments of adult learners from every corner of the island, and this year’s flagship Skills Exhibition carries on that proud tradition. The 2026 showcase takes place on the 28th of August at the Division’s central headquarters, located at 22 Kennedy Avenue in the capital city of Roseau, and will welcome guests from 10:00 AM through to 4:00 PM.
What makes this exhibition unique is its focus exclusively on work produced by students enrolled in the Division’s skills-focused training programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year. Attendees will be able to interact with a diverse array of displays that highlight the practical, job-ready skills participants have gained over the past year. These range from hands-on services and crafts like massage therapy, custom sewing, intricate hair braiding, and fine carpentry to culinary creations from pastry making courses, with many more skilled trades represented across the venue.
