Dominica’s primary utility provider, Dominica Electricity Services Limited (DOMLEC), is in the process of building a cutting-edge AI-integrated customer information system designed to streamline account access and cut down service wait times for residential and commercial clients across the island. The initiative, which has already been in active development for roughly 12 months, will replace a legacy software platform that has powered DOMLEC’s customer operations since the early 2000s, according to company officials.
