Since his re-election in January, Trump has repeatedly claimed he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in resolving multiple global conflicts, a claim many experts have dismissed as exaggerated. On the eve of the prize announcement, Trump highlighted his recent involvement in brokering a ceasefire in Gaza, which he described as the eighth war he had ended. Despite his assertions, Trump downplayed the significance of the award, stating, ‘Whatever they do is fine.
