Abinader assures that the Government will continue to recover money from corruption

SANTO DOMINGO – In a landmark move to turn stolen public resources back to public good, Dominican President Luis Abinader unveiled plans Wednesday to allocate RD$2 billion in funds recovered from corrupt past administrations to 40 new sports projects distributed across the country. The announcement, made during a formal ceremony at the National Palace, frames the initiative as a tangible demonstration of how embezzlement deprives local communities of critical public investment.
