Nearly two weeks have passed since 24-year-old serving police officer Kenyon Barrow cut off all contact with his loved ones, leaving his family frantic with worry and turning to the public for any information that could lead to his safe location. The young officer’s disappearance, which marks the longest stretch he has gone without reaching out to his family following previous episodes of disconnection, has prompted an official missing person report to local law enforcement.
Barrow’s mother, Therese Robinson, shared that her son has grappled with intermittent personal struggles for some time, and she had previously reached out to his police department for support to help him work through these challenges. In recent weeks, the situation escalated: Barrow stopped showing up for his shift duties and told his mother directly that he had no desire to return to work at this time.
Robinson’s last conversation with her son took place on September 8, 2026. Days later, after receiving unconfirmed details about the area where Barrow had recently been staying, she traveled to the region to search for him. Her investigation led her to the Blackwater district of Orange Walk Town, where she confirmed Barrow had been staying in the area, but she was unable to track him down during her search.
Notably, this is not the first time Barrow has stepped back from communication with his family following a period of personal stress. However, this incident is unprecedented in how complete his withdrawal has been. Unlike previous episodes where the pair stayed in intermittent contact, Barrow’s phone is now powered off and unreachable, leaving his family with no updates on his condition.
“All I want is for Kenyon to reach out if he sees this, just to let us know he is safe. Every member of our family is worried sick about him right now,” Robinson said in an emotional appeal. The family has filed an official missing person statement with local police, and is urging any member of the public who has spotted Barrow recently, or has information about his current whereabouts, to contact law enforcement immediately or call the dedicated tip line at 609-0492.
