Miss Universe Belize 2026 Kicks Off Multi-Stage Prep in El Salvador

The countdown to the 75th Miss Universe international pageant officially entered a new phase on September 2, 2026, as Caleigh-Rose West, the newly crowned Miss Universe Belize 2026, departed her home country to launch her multi-stage competitive training in El Salvador. The Miss Universe Belize Organization confirmed West’s arrival in the Central American nation in an official press statement, marking the start of her high-intensity international preparation ahead of the global competition in November.

Over the coming weeks, West will train alongside a diverse, cross-border team of pageant specialists, image coaches and industry experts hailing from multiple countries. Her rigorous training curriculum covers all critical areas of competition readiness: from runway movement and stage presence to public speaking, media interaction, social media branding, personal styling, wardrobe curation, makeup technique, professional posing, and interview strategy. Each training module is designed to refine her skills and build the confidence needed to stand out on the global stage.

The Miss Universe Belize Organization emphasized that this in-person international training forms a core part of a structured, multi-stage preparation roadmap. The program is tailored to equip West with the professional tools and experience required to showcase Belize’s culture and identity to a global audience, and to compete effectively against delegates from more than 80 countries and territories around the world.

The 75th Miss Universe pageant will wrap up its month of preliminary activities with the highly anticipated grand finale scheduled for November 24 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The official competition timeline kicks off with the iconic National Costume Show on November 21, which gives delegates the opportunity to showcase the traditional cultural attire of their home countries. This will be followed by the preliminary competition on November 22, where all contestants will compete in swimsuit and evening gown categories before the field is narrowed to the final group of competitors for the finale.

To support West’s preparation and competition journey, the Miss Universe Belize Organization is actively reaching out to local Belizean businesses, brands and potential stakeholders, inviting them to partner with West through sponsorships and collaborative initiatives. These partnerships will not only help cover the costs of West’s international training and competition logistics but also provide a platform for local Belizean brands to gain global visibility alongside their representative.

The pageant’s lead sponsor for West’s campaign is already on board: RF&G Insurance Ltd., which has lent its support with the slogan “It Pays to Get it Right”.
