Frederick dominated the 20th edition of the regional competition, held Monday evening, securing a total score of 1,425 points to outperform competitors from across the Caribbean. Beyond claiming the overall 2026 crown, she also took home two prestigious subsidiary awards: Best Talent and Best Evening Gown, cementing her standout performance across multiple competition categories.
The victory marks a watershed moment for Antigua and Barbuda, which has sent delegates to the pageant for its entire two-decade history, but had never claimed the top honor before Frederick’s win this year. The closely contested final results saw Tresjeur Dedier of St. Kitts claim the first runner-up position with a total of 1,409 points, while Miriam Alexander of Guyana rounded out the top three as second runner-up with 1,396 points.
Dwayne George, Antigua and Barbuda’s Minister of Sports and Creative Industries, led the official welcome for Frederick, highlighting the significance of her achievement in putting the nation’s creative and cultural talent on the regional map.
