Dominica’s vibrant calypso cultural circuit has officially unveiled the full roster of performers set to compete in the highly anticipated 2027 Calypso Quarter Finals, locked in for January 2, 2027, following a rigorous preliminary selection process that evaluated lyrical creativity, stage presence, and connection to the island’s beloved calypso heritage. Organizers confirmed 12 standout calypsonians have earned their coveted spots in the upcoming quarterfinal round, listed in no ranked order: Madame Everglow, Myka, Shadow Flow, Vigilante, Yoncé, Haxey, Shanice, Soul Puss, Trilla G, Bingo, Mighty Omee, and Chris B. To ensure the event runs seamlessly in the event of unforeseen performer cancellations, a tiered list of three reserve artists has also been announced, ordered by priority: first reserve Liberator, second reserve Ace, and third reserve Danyan.
