Deze vrijdag: Warm en overwegend droog weer

A warm weather pattern is set to sweep across the Netherlands on October 23, bringing a mix of intermittent cloud cover and bright sunshine that will push temperatures sharply higher through the afternoon. While most regions will stay dry through the day, isolated scattered showers are possible in localized areas.

The day will kick off with alternating patches of cloud and sun, with early morning temperatures settling between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius. As the morning progresses, heat will build steadily, pushing thermometers to between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius by midday, with only a minimal chance of rain during this period.

Afternoon hours will bring the peak of the heat, with regular bursts of sunshine pushing maximum temperatures to between 34 and 37 degrees Celsius, varying slightly by geographic location. The combination of high heat and humidity will create stifling, muggy conditions for many. Isolated showers, potentially accompanied by thunderstorms, may develop across inland areas and scattered other regions, though precipitation is not expected to be widespread.

By the evening, the intense heat will gradually ease. Most areas will remain predominantly dry, with a mix of cloud breaks and clearing skies. Temperatures will slowly cool to between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius before further overnight cooling sets in.
