The accused pair, 35-year-old Deon Smith and 19-year-old Jermain Joseph, both residents of the Bathlodge community, made their first court appearance before Magistrate Thomas on Friday, September 11, 2026. Following the hearing, the magistrate ordered the pair to be remanded ahead of their next court proceeding, which has been scheduled for November 18, 2026.
The criminal incident that sparked the charges took place on the afternoon of September 4, at around 3:45 p.m., at the Buckley Line Service Station located on All Saints Road. Authorities allege that approximately 6,000 Eastern Caribbean dollars were stolen from the facility during the robbery.
