Starting Tuesday, August 25, 2026, traffic flow along The Carenage, stretching from its intersections with both Hughes Street and Young Street, will be subject to significant nightly delays. The restrictions will be in effect from 7:00 p.m. through 3:00 a.m. each night, and will remain in place until the RGPF issues an update concluding the work. The temporary hold-up in regular vehicle movement is required to accommodate critical infrastructure work being carried out by the National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), specifically a large-scale pipe-laying project aimed at upgrading Grenada’s water and sewerage network.
