An initial examination confirmed Daniel had sustained visible traumatic injuries across his face and body, consistent with the report of foul play.
As investigators work to unpack the circumstances of the killing, law enforcement officials confirmed they have taken one person into custody who is currently cooperating with ongoing questioning.
