Among the candidates on the ballot, Michael Freeland running for the Antigua Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) secured 2,198 votes, putting him in the lead of the final vote tally. Kelvin Dalso, representing the United Progressive Party (UPP), earned 1,359 votes in the final count. Independent candidate Gail Pero Georges finished the race with 55 votes cast in his favor.
