Sailor Shanoy Malone Named Junior Sportsman of the Year at 2025 National Sports Awards

The distinguished accolade was conferred by Daryll S. Matthew, Minister of Education, Sports and Creative Industries, spotlighting Malone’s exceptional contributions to the nation’s athletic landscape.

Malone’s remarkable season established him as a dominant force in competitive sailing. He achieved an extraordinary record by securing victory in 13 out of 15 races at the Caribbean Dinghy Championships while simultaneously captaining the national team to overall championship glory. His competitive excellence extended beyond regional waters, with multiple podium finishes in international competitions and successful qualification for the Junior Pan American Games.
