In a prestigious ceremony honoring athletic excellence, bodybuilder Melissa Seaforth has been declared the Senior Sportswoman of the Year for 2025 at the Antigua and Barbuda National Sports Awards. The nation’s Governor-General, Sir Rodney Williams, personally bestowed the honor, which celebrates exceptional achievement, exemplary leadership, and distinguished representation of the country on the global stage.

Seaforth’s remarkable year was highlighted by her triumphant victory at the IFBB Bikini Fitness Pro Masters World Championship in Malta, where she clinched the world title.
