The attack occurred around 8:46 p.m. near the community center in the Coyo district as Trapp was returning home in his vehicle. Two unidentified assailants approached his car and opened fire, leaving him with severe injuries. Trapp was promptly transported to San Ignacio Community Hospital by a family member and is currently in stable condition.
