On Wednesday, a small but meaningful diplomatic handover took place at the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) headquarters located in Chesterfield, Castries. At the ceremony, Nicole Y.C. Su, the Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan), formally presented two desktop computers as a gift from the Taiwanese government and people to the RSLPF.
Verne Garde, the Commissioner of the RSLPF, accepted the donation on behalf of the police force and extended his sincere gratitude to Taiwan. He emphasized that this donation is a tangible reflection of the productive partnership that has existed between the two sides for ten years.
Garde noted that over the past decade, the bilateral relationship has remained solid and stable, with both sides extending mutual support on multiple fronts. He expressed his expectation that this friendly cooperative dynamic will continue to develop in the years ahead, bringing more practical benefits to both sides.
