The five-day intensive training program, which ran from August 17 to August 21, was curated and led by a team of senior FIFA-certified football educators. Designed to push the boundaries of professional development for emerging youth goalkeeper specialists, the workshop covered cutting-edge training methodologies, injury prevention protocols, psychological development for young athletes, and modern tactical approaches specific to the goalkeeper position at youth levels.
In an official statement shared by the governing body, ABFA officials emphasized that the immersive program gave Lake invaluable hands-on experience and access to elite-level educational resources that will directly bolster his ability to nurture the next generation of goalkeeping talent in Antigua and Barbuda.
