Thousands of secondary and post-secondary students across the Caribbean will soon learn their official exam results for the 2026 May-June assessment cycle, as the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC®) prepares to launch the results release on Tuesday, 18 August 2026 from its host location in Anguilla.
In collaboration with Anguilla’s Ministry of Social Development, Education, Youth & Culture, CXC® will stage the official results unveiling ceremony at the Teachers’ Resource Centre, located within the Edison L. Hughes Education and Library Complex in The Valley, Anguilla’s capital. Unlike many previous in-person-only events, this year’s gathering will adopt a hybrid model that enables education stakeholders, school representatives, and members of the public to attend the event either in person or follow proceedings via a dedicated regional live stream, expanding access to the annual occasion across all Caribbean islands.
According to a formal press statement from CXC®, the event will bring together senior government officials, leading education sector stakeholders, school administrators, and regional media representatives to publicly release results for four of the council’s core qualification programs: the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination® (CAPE®), Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate® (CSEC®), Caribbean Targeted Education Certificate (CTEC), and Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence® (CCSLC®).
Senior leadership from both the Anguillian government and CXC® will deliver key addresses during the ceremony. Shellya Rogers-Webster, Anguilla’s Minister of Social Development, Education, Youth & Culture, Library Services and Probation, will deliver the event’s feature address, highlighting the island nation’s focus on equitable education access and regional collaboration.
CXC Registrar and Chief Executive Officer Dr Wayne Wesley will take the stage to outline the regional examination body’s ongoing strategic initiatives, including a detailed breakdown of outcomes from the recently completed pilot phase of the new CTEC qualification. Following Dr Wesley’s remarks, Dr Nicole Manning, CXC’s Director of Operations, will present a comprehensive analysis of overall candidate performance across all 2026 May-June exams, calling out standout achievements and trends from this year’s cohort.
As the 2026 host nation, Anguilla is also using the occasion to showcase its local cultural and academic talent. The ceremony will feature a spoken word performance from Nevaiya Simpson, the junior category winner of the 2026 Malliouhana Poetry Competition, as well as musical performances from popular local pan musicians 1264IslandBoys, brothers Sharvin and Arvin Narine.
In its statement, CXC noted that the annual public results ceremony underscores the organization’s core mission: investing in the Caribbean’s long-term human capital development by celebrating the hard work and academic accomplishments of both students and teaching staff across the region. Following the conclusion of the official ceremony, all individual candidates will gain access to their personal exam results through CXC’s official digital platforms.
