Jeffers made clear that law enforcement has reached a turning point, and will no longer tolerate criminal elements sowing chaos and intimidation in residential areas. “We are tired of you coming in and driving fear in the community,” the commissioner stated bluntly. “We’re going to turn it around and reverse that fear back to you. We’re coming for you.”
