The detour follows a clear route depending on travelers’ direction of travel. For motorists heading out of town, the route requires a right turn at Flex Hardware Store, then connecting back to All Saints Road via the access road passing Heritage Preschool. For those traveling into the capital St. John’s, drivers will turn left at D’Cravinz and rejoin the route toward St. John’s through the Herberts area.
To keep traffic moving safely through the temporary arrangement, trained flag persons will be posted at key points along the detour route.
