For decades, she has worked behind the scenes of Spicemas events, including serving as a judge for core carnival competitions such as Calypso, Soca, Groovy and Mas. This hands-on experience has given her an intimate, nuanced understanding of the unique value of Grenada’s carnival offering and the broader creative ecosystem that supports it. She has also contributed her time and expertise to the National Queen Show Committee, helping to grow and raise the profile of one of the nation’s most iconic cultural events.
