“Across the first four matches of the season, consistency has eluded our Saint Lucia Kings, but I cannot overstate how impressed I am with the outpouring of support from the Saint Lucian public,” Casimir told the press corps. Going on record, he added that over his five years in public office, this current campaign has seen the lowest number of requests for free complimentary match tickets — a shift he calls a clear sign of progress for local sports.
According to Casimir, the trend demonstrates that the country is moving in the right direction, with local residents increasingly recognizing the value of backing domestic sports and taking advantage of world-class local event facilities. “The small entry fee charged for tickets pales in comparison to the electric atmosphere and unmatched excitement fans get to experience, particularly in the Johnson Charles Stand,” he explained. “It is well worth every dollar spent.”
