Milton Morrison, executive director of the Dominican Institute of Transit (Intrant), used his address to the international gathering to frame road safety as a non-negotiable national priority for the Dominican government, backed by targeted public policy, cross-sector partnerships and sustained infrastructure investment all centered on one core goal: protecting the lives of all road users.
