This proposal, if implemented, would require a total government expenditure of $3.15 billion. Golding made the recommendation during a press conference at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition in St Andrew on Monday, emphasizing the urgent need for increased funding to address the widespread damage caused by the hurricane.
