ACP Hilberto Romero, head of the national investigative agency, confirmed the details of the heist in an official briefing. The target of the attack was CIB Brewery, owned by Kang Young, who was present at the location when the robbery unfolded. Romero recounted that the suspects arrived at the brewery in a Kia sedan, before all four armed individuals exited the vehicle and confronted Young directly.
