On Thursday, September 24, police officers took 18-year-old Natking Thomas of Cashew Hill into custody, formally charging him with the murder of Francis. A second 18-year-old suspect, Dejonte Joseph from Bathlodge, was arrested on the same day and faces a charge of accessory to murder for his alleged role in the incident. Both accused are scheduled to make their first court appearance on Friday, September 25, the day after the arrests.
Despite these major steps forward, the investigation remains incomplete, as law enforcement continues to search for a fourth suspect, Janiah Antoine, who is still at large as of the latest police update. In an official appeal issued as part of the public statement, authorities are urging Antoine to turn himself in voluntarily at the closest police station without further delay.
