22-year-old motorcyclist dies in St James collision

A devastating road accident has claimed another life on Barbados’ road network, marking the island’s latest traffic fatality. The fatal incident unfolded just after midday on Sunday at the intersection of the Ronald Mapp Highway and Westmoreland, located in the parish of St James.

The victim of the collision was identified by local law enforcement as 22-year-old Kahlil Nash, a resident of Cave Hill in St Lucy. Emergency response teams were dispatched to the crash site immediately after reports of the collision, which involved two vehicles: a motorcycle operated by Nash and a private motorcar. The crash was first logged by emergency services at 12:33 p.m.

Despite rapid first responder intervention, Nash succumbed to his injuries at the location of the incident.
