On the approach of World First Aid Day 2026, the Surinamese Red Cross has issued a public call to communities across the country: expand collective first aid knowledge, and actively share that life-saving expertise with others. This year’s global observance of the day centers on the inclusive theme “First aid for everyone, everywhere, at every time”, a framework the organization leverages to emphasize a core principle: high-quality first aid information and training must be accessible, understandable, and safe for all members of society.
