As Barbados prepares for a surge in road traffic tied to the approaching start of the new academic year, a comprehensive cross-agency traffic management plan featuring short, medium and long-term interventions has been submitted to the national Cabinet to address persistent congestion issues, Transport and Works Minister Kirk Humphrey has announced. The plan was developed following a coordination meeting bringing together senior leaders from law enforcement, education and transport sectors, and was presented to the public Friday alongside Education Transformation Minister Chad Blackman.
