This win marks Haiti’s third title in the competition, following previous triumphs in 2021 and 2022, cementing the nation’s reputation as a dominant force in regional youth football.
Heading into the highly anticipated final match, head coach Jean Marc Alexandre made one strategic adjustment to his starting lineup, calling up Wood-James Bernard from Haiti’s EFAT academy to replace Jerry Petit-Homme of FC Toro. The starting eleven that took the field featured captain Cédric Claremond of Les Rouleurs FC, goalkeeper Marc-Evens Lubin of Ideal FC, and standout young talents Ronelson Pelé Janvier (Les Rouleurs FC) and Jodley Sheeckensley Delmas (EXAFOOT), among other rising prospects from leading Haitian youth clubs.
