When crews arrived at the scene, they found the two accident victims — an elderly man and an elderly woman — both sustaining visible trauma from the fall. First responders fitted both patients with cervical stabilization collars to prevent further spinal injury during extraction, and the pair were quickly transferred to a nearby hospital for ongoing medical care.
