APUA Telecoms Crowned 2025 Ministry of Sports Business League Football Champions

APUA Telecoms has clinched the championship title in the highly competitive 2025 Ministry of Sports Business League Football Tournament following an impressive season marked by exceptional team performance and individual brilliance. The telecommunications giant demonstrated consistent dominance throughout the campaign, ultimately securing the top honor in a tournament that featured strong showings from multiple government ministries and private organizations.

The Ministry of Agriculture emerged as runners-up in the final standings, while Hermitage Bay secured a respectable third-place finish. The group stage witnessed four organizations claiming top positions in their respective divisions: St John’s Development Corporation triumphed in Group 1, the Ministry of Agriculture dominated Group 2, Postal Services led Group 3, and Hermitage Bay topped Group 4. In a separate exhibition match, HMP United emerged victorious.

APUA Telecoms’ success extended beyond the team championship to a clean sweep of individual accolades. Rakeem Joseph received the tournament’s Most Valuable Player award, while Tariq Highland was honored as Best Defender. The organization further demonstrated its comprehensive excellence with Berchel Andrew claiming Manager of the Year and Colin Ralph recognized as Coach of the Year.

Other notable award recipients included Roy Gregory of Hermitage Bay, who secured the Most Goals distinction, and Chad Williams of the Ministry of Agriculture, named Best Midfielder for his outstanding contributions.
