We are not in favor of invasions,’ she declared during her weekly media briefing at the National Palace. Sheinbaum also affirmed Mexico’s willingness to assist in fostering dialogue between the US and Venezuela, stating, ‘Mexico will always be there to help in any possible way. Dialogue must always take place. We must seek talks and peace everywhere.’ Trump’s remarks coincided with the deployment of the US Navy’s most advanced aircraft carrier to the Caribbean Sea, a move widely interpreted as a display of military strength.
