Nicolas Geleyns, the rising star in the FIA European Rallycross Championship, has set his sights on a third consecutive campaign in Euro RX3 by 2026, with the ultimate goal of clinching the championship title. After a promising rookie season in 2023, where he finished seventh overall, Geleyns has made significant strides in his sophomore year, securing multiple podium finishes and ending the season in third place. His journey began in autocross on dirt tracks in Antigua, where he has resided since 2019, before transitioning to the fiercely competitive rallycross scene. This year, Geleyns achieved his first podium at Höljes in Sweden, navigating treacherous conditions to claim second place. He replicated this success at Finland’s KymiRing, narrowly missing victory by a mere six-tenths of a second, and again at Istanbul Park, where he executed a breathtaking 360-degree overtake. Despite setbacks in Portugal and Hungary, where he fell short of advancing to the finals, Geleyns’ consistent performance has solidified his position as a top contender.
