Third man charged with Tameah Ramdass murder

Five years after the fatal killing of Tameah Ramdass, law enforcement authorities in Barbados have secured a third criminal charge in the high-profile homicide investigation. The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) confirmed Tuesday that 26-year-old Nicholas Andre McIntosh, a resident of Sargeant Street in the parish of St John, has been formally indicted on one count of murder linked to Ramdass’ April 9, 2021 death.

McIntosh had been a person of interest actively sought by TBPS investigators for half a decade in connection with the slaying. After years as a wanted suspect, he recently took the step of voluntarily turning himself in to police custody, ending the multi-year manhunt for him in the case.

The accused is scheduled to make his first court appearance on the murder charge at the District ‘D’ Magistrates’ Court located in Cane Garden, St Thomas, starting at 10:30 a.m. local time. To date, two other individuals have already faced charges over Ramdass’ killing, marking McIntosh’s accusation as the latest development in the prolonged investigation into the 2021 homicide.
