All charges stem from an enforcement operation that took place on September 11. Law enforcement seized approximately 47.5 kilogrammes of suspected cannabis from the scene, which local authorities have valued at an estimated street price of $237,500. When the charges were formally read out in court by presiding Magistrate Jared Richards, Alleyne was not required to enter a plea at this procedural stage of the case. The defendant is represented by two experienced defense attorneys, Simon Clarke and Neville Reid, who argued for bail ahead of the next court hearing. In the end, Magistrate Richards granted bail set at $20,000, which requires two sureties to be secured before Alleyne’s release.
