Paradise, Technique kick off PM’s Cup with victories

The third edition of the Caribbean’s lucrative Prime Minister’s Cup got underway on Monday night, with two squads, Technique and Paradise, securing hard-fought opening victories that put them on course to compete for the tournament’s $100,000 top prize at Friendship Playing Field. Among the two opening-match wins, Technique delivered the most dramatic late comeback of the day, erasing an early deficit to claim a 2-1 victory over L&R United, while 2025 tournament third-place finishers Paradise cruised to a 2-0 shutout win against Pro Shottas to open their campaign.
